Avonleigh Orchards Community Farming Festival

Learn more about Avonleigh Orchards’ nature-friendly farm, enjoy a community meal and get stuck in at their new farming festival.

On Saturday 23 May, the team at Avonleigh Orchards are welcoming everyone to come along and see what life is like on the farm, while helping local residents to connect to the countryside. 

There will be a host of activities for all ages, including:

• A guided walk through the nature-friendly farm
• Horticultural activities, such as preparing veg beds, planting seedlings, and direct sowing
• Learning more about the orchard ecosystem and Avonleigh’s holistic approach to fruit growing
• Community feast using veg grown on the farm, prepared by Avonleigh’s skilled chefs and volunteers
